Metopia Gas is an interface, which is part of the Metopia collection, to sense
urban polluted atmospheres. It is using sonification and machine learning for
embodied experiences to create new perception of polluted atmosphere for the
audiences.
Metopia Gas is a device that combines sensing of combustable gases with
environmental sensing. The sonification is using tradiational instrumentation
with piano, percussion and violin to create rhythmic patterns of the data.
It is a generative composition with a eternal duration.
